A large number of thermal analyzing methods can be performed with Liebisch metal block thermostats. Disintegration, hydrolization, incineration, evaporation or CSB are an example for many other applications.
The metal block
The core component of our thermostats is the solid aluminium block. The bore holes of the block are holders for different sample containers. The many block sizes, number and dimensions of the bore holes has produced a lot of models.
The heat transfer
The heat transfer to the heating block results from a large surface area. The block is produced from a single piece of special aluminium alloy, that is why high temperature stability and short response times are achieved.
The advantages
multi-stage adjustable working temperatures from ambient to +500 °C or -10 to +120°C
LED temperature display with resolution of 0,1°C
more than 150 standard models
temperature stability <+/-0,2K
The test tubes / containers remain clean and dry (no heating fluid)
no contamination of test samples by heating liquid
The control
A standard feature of the thermostats is the PID controller with set point and actual value display. As an option the units can be equipped with the Digit (for maximum temperature stability) or with the external control box (for safe operation).
The controller can perform timer or ramp functions. The controller can have the option of an interface RS 485 to connect to a PC. With special software the controller can be programmed independently.
